One And Infinite Number of Chairs

Based on conceptual art practices from the 60ʼs and 70ʼs, especially referring to Joseph Kosuth and the problem of the representation (Dematerialization of an Art Object by Lucy Lippard), my work is dealing with the problem of representation, as well as the relation between imagination and perception taking the Computational theory of Mind, also known as Representational theory of mind, as the starting point. Specificity and uniqueness of subjective experience and knowledge play a big role in our comprehension and structuring the world around or inside us. The question of representation of scientific data and findings from neuroscience is problematized, for its position meaning that it is left out from the ideology.
